• What Is Fatigue?

Did you know there are several reasons for fatigue?

You may find yourself exhausted even when you get the proper amount of sleep.
A poor diet, declining hormone levels, toxins in the environment, and mental stress can cause fatigue in even the most rested individual.
Just like you wouldn’t put low grade fuel in an expensive sports car, you shouldn’t put low quality food into your body and expect to have a high energy output.

Hormones decline with stress and age.  Toxins in our air and water can create a perfect storm and interfere with healthy function leaving us fatigued.  Mental stress leads to adrenal stress and fatigue.  Using caffeine and energy drinks creates a vicious cycle that leave us increasingly fatigued, but wired.

Things You Can Do Now:
1. Sleep: Get 6-8 hours of sleep daily.
2. Diet: Eat a healthy diet, rich in plant nutrients. Avoid fast food, sugar, starch and anything processed.
3. Caffeine: Avoid prolonged use of caffeine to avoid ‘chasing your tail’.
