Do you know what NASH is?

It’s more than an old-fashioned car.  It’s a rapidly increasing health problem.  It affects 10% of children and 20% of adults in the U.S. and is projected to become the leading cause of liver transplantation.

NASH along with NALFD are two aspects of fatty liver disease. This is a condition where the liver is unable to metabolize the incoming fats and they are deposited inside the liver. This then damages liver cells. Fatty liver disease is tied to obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol, and high triglyceride levels in the blood.  If you’ve been told you have fatty liver, usually your doctors scratch their heads and say, “We’ll watch it.”

But now there is something effective you can do about it.  BergaMet is a supplement that has been shown in scientific studies to reduce the fatty infiltration of the liver by as much as 50% in just 4 months!  It is especially effective in those with high cholesterol levels.

Bergamet is the extract of bergamot fruit grown in the Calabria region of Italy.  It has cholesterol lowering effects and helps with blood sugar problems like the ones that cause diabetes and fatty liver.  Just 2 Bergamet pills a day can dramatically change the health of your liver.

Other things that you can do to slow or reverse the progression:
1. Weight loss, specifically body fat loss, helps to decrease the fatty infiltration in your liver.

2. Reducing carbohydrates (sugars and starches) in your diet.  This lowers triglyceride blood levels.

3. Exercise to reduce body fat.

Little did I know when I sent out my blog last week about taking a hip hop class for fun that there actually is scientific evidence about the value of dance in preventing cognitive decline.
