Are you one of the millions of people with a sexual problem? A study done in 2000 shows that sexual dysfunction (that’s the medical term for sexual problems) occurs in 43% of women and 31% of men. That’s a huge number. In addition, sexual function problems hurt interpersonal relations and decrease the quality of a person’s life.

There are many physical and psychological causes for sexual problems.  But, don’t throw up your hands in despair. There are many treatments available. You just need to muster up the courage to talk to someone about it.

For both men and women, hormones are the most common physical problem. At the Sklar Center we have found that hormone restoration helps the vast majority of people with sexual function problems.  Psychological problems can be addressed with a therapist comfortable treating sexual function problems. It’s complex, but it can be sorted out and fixed.
