Breast Health Program

Breast cancer—two of the most feared words for women. Are you at risk? The answer is YES! Over 12 percent of women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Although it is a very treatable form of cancer and less than 3 percent of those who are diagnosed die from the disease, why not prevent it?

Many women with a family history of breast cancer are especially fearful. However, according to the American Cancer Society (ACS) a genetic link to a diagnosis of breast cancer only occurs in 5 to 10 percent of cases.

Even a close family member with a history of the disease is not the primary indicator of your risk. The leading risk factor, according to the ACS is hormonal imbalances and deficiencies as women age – This is not a natural aging process!

The future is in your hands. Starting early to prevent the cellular level damage that leads to cancer is key. Have you encountered it already? It’s not too late. Careful evaluation of the underlying causes of cancer enables us at the Sklar Center to develop a personalized risk reduction program for you.

The Sklar Center Breast Health Program evaluates your multiple risk factors including: stress, toxins, nutritional deficiencies, and hormonal imbalances and deficiencies for creation of your personalized Breast Health Program.

By looking at you as a whole person as well as your unique history and situation, we are able to develop a personal program for your healthy future.
