It’s almost Valentine’s Day and thoughts turn to romance.  Maybe you’re thinking about a romantic getaway.  But, you don’t have to leave town to have a romantic interlude.

What about your own house, specifically your bedroom? Does it inspire a romantic encounter or housework?

If your bedroom looks like a business office or a Super Bowl viewing station, changes are in order.  You can create a love nest with just a few well-placed items.  Make your bedroom into a sacred space.  Enhance it with sound from bubbling water or soft music.  Use candles or a scarf draped over a lampshade to create mood lighting.  Scent will add to feeling.  Use incense and oil or fresh flowers.   Be ready with massage oil, fresh linens and towels to complete your romantic retreat.

You don’t have to leave town. Make your love nest right at home.
